Coordinated Resource & Support Services (CRSS)

Referral Process

Requests for CRSS involvement are made by calling Parsons State Hospital and Training Center at 620-421-6550, Ext. 1859 or 800-362-0390, Ext. 1859 during office hours. During non-office hours, the operator can be asked to page on-call CRSS staff. Crisis support service is available 24/7, including holidays. The referring source will be asked to state the problem, barriers to service and specific objectives which CRSS might accomplish. CRSS involvement should be as consistent as possible with any known treatment plan already in place by any agency already serving the consumer.

 

 

 

Where do referrals come from?

Referrals come from consortium agencies' case managers, social workers, agency administration or other specified designees. Referrals should only be made after exhausting their known resources. Referrals from other sources (police departments, SRS, family members, etc.) are referred to the appropriate agency or support service, which can then request CRSS involvement.
